Today in class we researched some things for our blog. Some of the those things were birth rate, death rate and some others.
population studies: defining our terms
A population pyramid, is a graphical illustration that shows the distribution of various age groups in a human population, which normally forms the shape of a pyramid. It usually has bars lined up which shows the age group and number of people, one showing the number of males and one showing females in a particular population in five-year age groups .It may be measured by raw number or as a percentage of the total population.
Net migration rate is the difference of immigrants and emigrants of an area in a period of time, divided per 1,000 inhabitants. A positive value represents more people entering the country than leaving it, while a negative value mean more people leaving than entering it.

Did You Know???
The video we watched today("Did You Know") showed me soethings that I find very interesting. It showed me that Facebook is the third biggest country in the world. This popped out at me during the video because I am a fan of the eternet and seeing how bigg facebook is showed me how the eternet and technology have become such important part of our world. Another thing that popped out at me was the during the duration of the video about 500 babies were born in India. This popped out at me because in the future our world will be over poulated which means we won't have enough food, water, and space to live. So we need to use our new technologies to create new ways to live or new places to live.
